In this free report, you’re going to learn how to write effective metatags as shown above for your website using a “metatag” template. You’ll also learn why it’s important to write metatags for your website.
Why Are Metatags Necessary for Your Website’s Success?
There is one sole purpose for adding metatags to your web pages - to help your website get listed in search engines. If you're currently enrolled in the “My First Website” promotion course for beginners, you’ll learn more about search engines and how they work. Also, you’ll add metatags to each web page of your site as you submit them to the search engines.
But for now, concentrate on placing metatags in your homepage only. You can do the remainder of your pages later as you list them with the search engines.
Use this report to insert metatags into your homepage HTML code.
The search engines will examine your webpage and your metatags for important keywords that tell about your site. Also, most search engines will utilize your metatag section “Title” and “Description” for your listing information. This listing will show when your web page appears as a search result for the search engines.
