Adsense is Google’s powerhouse advertising program, that in and of itself is the mainstay of the companies huge success, and so as with everything there are a few little simple tricks that can help you push forward with your adsense campaigns and succeed at very little additional cost to you – here’s a couple of those Adsense tips for you to ponder.

 

The biggest tip, and it really is the biggest Adsense tip out there, is that if you have a question or need some advice, ask Google! They’re help people are awesome, and they seem to really enjoy finding out new things or answering new questions about their programs, so feel free to ask Goggle themselves what you want to know about.

 

Essentially, they ARE the experts on the product, so what’s wrong with asking them things like ”my keyword is YYY, can you tell me the number of enquiries per day for it?” and stuff like that, as that’s what they’re paid to do. Adsense tips don’t need to be underhand to be effective, so use it at your leisure.

 

Phrases and Density

Checking your keyword density can have a great effect on how your campaign is looked on, and how people respond to your campaigns. It’s not unknown for Google to drop a site due to keyword stuffing, but if you keep it within the realms of normality, like 3 or 4 per keyword in the subject matter, then you really shouldn’t have any problems with it.

 

Those articles that just drop the words in, however, are now being dropped like hot spuds by Google, so do be aware of that when you post new content, as not all Adsense tips suggest that you don’t stuff your articles or posts.

 

Use section targeting to specify what areas of your post that you want the spiders to crawl, and display ads for. Sounds almost obvious, but this Adsense tip works most effectively when you consider that there may be areas of your site or article that you DON’T want the search spiders to crawl and display ads for.

 

This will work for those areas that may pull in unwanted ads to your site, or those that don’t fully complement your offerings or wants fully.

 

Marketing Your Business Website with Adwords

Adwords marketing is one of Google’s flagship products that grossed over $20 billion in 2008.

 

This type of traffic generation is based on the pay-per-click phenomenon which means for each time someone clicks on an Adwords ad, the company receives revenue. Adwords are distributed locally, nationally, as well as internationally. Google Adwords are short in nature, consisting of one or two short lines of text.

 

Pay-per-click advertising works with Adwords marketing in that an advertiser decides how much they are willing to pay per click and what keywords trigger their ads. For example, an ad will only come up if a user enters “killing mold” as their Google search term.

 

Placement targeted advertising works differently in that advertisers specify which domain names or search terms to place their ads on. Google then matches the ads to appropriate web pages. With placement advertising one ad can take up the entire block (up to four ads).

 

Google isn’t the only page the ads are displayed on. Advertisers can have their ads displayed on Google partner networks, including AOL, Ask, and Netscape. Google dominates the advertising market, however; their competition includes Microsoft Corp’s AdCenter and Yahoo’s Search Marketing. Google’s Adwords marketing platform is based on MySQL technology.

 

A subset of Adwords marketing is Google’s application Adsense. This allows website owners to install Adsense which will display text, image, and video ads to their web sites. They are paid a percentage of what Google makes.

 

Companies can choose to manage their own Adwords marketing campaigns, or they may hire outside agencies to do this for them.

 

Adwords marketing is a unique venture and has a high learning curve. The revenue builds over time, and nobody will make $100,000 from Adwords marketing in a single day. It takes time, and it is important to track your results. It is better to have a narrow list of keywords rather than a huge list. Users will be more likely to click on your ads if they are targeted directly to their search.

 

Adwords marketing is a valuable tool for anyone to invest in. The page in which your clients click on should direct them to a page that contains their search terms – even if it is not part of your company’s website navigation.

 

There are plenty of resources to help you get your Adwords marketing campaign up and running. Google is your best resource, but be careful as per whom you hire. You will not make a fortune overnight, nor can anyone promise that you will make a living off of Adwords.

 

So with these simple little Adsense tips you should improve your click-thru’s, and also allow your own site displays to better target the ads that you want, from these Adsense tips.
